Surfaces that holdthe light.
Premier Render & Plaster is Adelaide's specialist in Venetian plaster, microcement and bespoke decorative finishes — hand-applied for architects, luxury builders and private clients who notice the details.
The studio
A finish is not a colour. It is depth, movement and the way a wall behaves at six in the evening.
Premier Render & Plaster delivers high-quality rendering, solid plastering and specialist decorative finishes across Adelaide — residential, commercial, industrial and heritage.
We have built strong partnerships with Tier 1 to Tier 3 builders, councils and private clients who rely on us for dependable service, skilled workmanship and consistently refined finishes. Every surface is trowelled by hand, on site, by tradespeople who have done it a thousand times before.
The finishes
Nine systems. One standard.
Venetian Plaster
Lime, marble dust and light. The oldest luxury surface there is.

Hand-applied
Every square metre goes on by hand.
No sprayed shortcuts, no printed imitation. The movement in a Premier wall is made by a steel trowel and fifteen years of knowing exactly how hard to press.
Why Premier
Six reasons clients keep coming back
Experience
Fifteen years across luxury residential, commercial fit-out, heritage restoration and fire-rated systems. There is very little we have not met on an Adelaide site.
Premium materials
Lime putty, marble flour and mineral-based systems from established European and Australian manufacturers. We do not substitute to save a dollar.
Craftsmanship
Every decorative finish is hand-trowelled. No sprayed shortcuts, no printed imitations — the movement in the surface is real.
Attention to detail
Substrate preparation, set-outs, terminations, junctions and reveals. The parts nobody photographs are the parts that make the finish last.
Customer satisfaction
We turn up when we say we will, we keep you informed, and we leave the site clean. Read what nine Adelaide clients have said about that.
Reliable & accountable
Fully licensed under BLD 340668, insured, and contactable. Programmes are agreed, and then they are met.
How we work
Five steps, no surprises
The same sequence on a single feature wall or a 40-apartment façade. It is the reason builders hand us programme dates without hedging them.

We talk through the space, the look you are chasing and the budget it needs to sit inside. Samples are prepared so you are choosing from a real surface, not a screen.
Site inspection
We assess substrate, moisture, movement, access and programme, then issue a written scope so everyone is specifying the same finish.
Preparation
Protection, masking, substrate correction, priming and set-out. Roughly half of a decorative job happens before the first coat of finish goes on.
Plastering & finishing
Hand application in thin successive coats, burnished, compressed or textured to the agreed sample, then sealed or waxed where the system calls for it.
Cleanup & final check
Full de-mask and clean, a walk-through with you under working light, and written care guidance for the finish you now own.

What clients say
"Thank you Keith for your great communication and fitting in the job to your tight schedule. Dylan and Josh did a fantastic job, much appreciated. Highly recommend."
"I was very fortunate to find Keith and his company, Premier Render and Plaster. I had some broken render at the front of my home, Keith ably assisted with his apprentice and repaired it to as new finish. They were very professional, and left a very clean worksite when finished. I have no hesitation in recommending him."
"I engaged Premier Render & Plaster to render part of my façade for my new home build. Keith was the utmost professional from start to end of the process. Importantly, I am happy with the workmanship and final product. I was impressed with Keith's customer service, communication, planning, technical advice and tidiness on the job site. I'm glad I selected a quality operator."
"Keith and the guys at Premier Render were great! Very professional and I was very happy with the job. Highly recommend!"
"Keith has an old school work ethic and has high standards when it comes to his work. I would recommend him highly. If you are looking for someone honest and reliable, he's definitely the one to call."
Good to know
Questions we get asked before every project.
Yes — we cover the full Adelaide metropolitan area, and travel to the Adelaide Hills, Barossa and Fleurieu for larger decorative and heritage projects. Tell us the address when you enquire and we will confirm.
Always. For every decorative finish we prepare physical sample boards in your chosen colour and sheen, and we recommend viewing them in the actual room, in both daylight and artificial light. Venetian plaster in particular changes character completely between the two.
A large share of our decorative work comes through architects, designers and Tier 1–3 builders. We are comfortable working to a specification, providing system data for submission, and coordinating with other trades on programme.
Yes. Premier Render & Plaster operates under builders licence BLD 340668 and carries public liability insurance. Certificates are available on request for commercial submissions.
It depends on the system, the number of coats, the substrate condition and the access. A polished lime Venetian on a prepared feature wall sits well above a standard paint finish and well below stone cladding. We quote per project after a site inspection so the number you receive is the number you pay.
A single feature wall is typically two to four days including preparation and curing between coats. Whole-of-home or commercial applications are programmed on inspection. Lime-based systems cannot be rushed — the cure is part of the finish.
